You wake in the morning and there are no jobs at the Town Hall, what do you do? Wait till jobs appear? Well now you can work the mine or cut wood and enter the lottery with the chance to win a meal or maybe two?

Preston is a wood town and it is the towns main source of income, we need wood to export for trades and also help our carpenters and bakers, the county also needs to have people work in the mines.

The lottery will run for a trial period of six weeks and if successful will continue, it will run from Monday to Sunday and all entrants must have posted there entry by reset Sunday evening/ Monday morning (depending on your time zone). Winners will be posted on the forum and notified by IG mail on how to claim there prize no later than the Tuesday following the draw.

1st prize- 2 Free Bread
2nd prize -1 Free Bread

(These prizes are guaranteed, but there is also the chance that more could be won depending on the donations by other citizens and current prizes will be posted when winners are announced)

To enter simply work in the mines or cut wood in the forest. If you work in the mine then on Sunday when the council pays you the second payment for working the mines post a screenshot showing payment. If you cut wood you can post a screenshot the day after you cut wood showing that you cut wood. For each day you mine or cut wood you will receive an entry for the lottery.

To take a  screenshot - :
- Go to your events screen
- push the "Print Screen" button of your keyboard (the one above Delete and Insert)
- open an imaging program (paint is sufficient)
- paste the screenshot there
- if you want to take only the two necessary events select the part of the screen shot you want to show then copy it and paste it in another file.
- go to an hosting site like http://www.photobucket.com and "host it".
- then paste the IMG code into your post

Want to see the town of Preston grow even further and also the county then lets get this lottery off the ground.

All prizes are being kindly donated by citizens of Preston and is not costing the town anything to run.

I will donate 6 breads monthly to this cause but will have to wait until I arrive home in the next couple of weeks.

If you find that after some time, this idea has lost its appeal, maybe we can offer a stat food like a fruit to the winner?

Great job, Dal!
